Midwest Industrial Funds recently broke ground on a new 186,146 SF industrial building located at 2555 Enterprise Circle within the DuPage Business Center in West Chicago, IL.  The building is being constructed on a speculative basis and is suitable for a variety of uses including distribution, assembly and manufacturing.  The high image pre-cast concrete and glass facility features 32’ clear ceilings, a rear loading configuration with up to 38 truck docks, 174 car parking which is expandable along with office and power to suit.  The building is divisible down to approximately 45,000 SF and will be completed in the spring of 2021.  Midwest Industrial Funds acquired the land on October 1st from the DuPage Airport Authority and broke ground immediately with permits in hand.  MIF Construction LLC is the design-build general contractor for the project.  This is the second spec building Midwest Industrial has launched in the business park.  Midwest Industrial’s first 303,000 SF spec building in the park, located at 2525 Enterprise, is 67% leased to two tenants.  Mark Moran and John Whitehead of NAI Hiffman represented the seller on the recent transaction.  They are also marketing the 186,146 SF building which is under construction at 2555 Enterprise, as well as the remaining 101,000 SF vacancy at 2525 Enterprise on behalf of Midwest Industrial Funds.
